    beams, columns - Double and triple laminated beams

Double and triple laminate beams (Duo-& Triobeams) consist of two (Duo-) or three (Trio-) timber lamellae bonded together. Prior to bonding the lamellae are strength graded by visual or machine grading acc. to ÍNORM DIN 4074. Individual lamellae can be finger-jointed. The adhesive has to meet the requirements of EN 301 for load-bearing timber components. Duo- and triobeams are planed and chamfered.
